Josh Wick is an independent filmmaker, producer and film editor based in Brooklyn, NY. His work has competed in film festivals including the Nashville Film Festival, The Pan African Film & Arts Festival, Urbanworld VIBE Film Festival, The Lake Placid Film Forum, The Ohio Independent Film Festival, North Carolina's River Run International Film Festival, The Brick Theatre's The Film Festival: A Theatre Festival and the New Director's Series at Anthology Film Archives in New York City.
THE ASSASSIN, a feature length contemporary noir, produced and co-written by Mr. Wick, in collaboration with director Devin E. Haqq, was honored to compete in four film festivals as well as the Independent Film Project's Lab 2006. THE ASSASSIN is represented by digital content agency Cinetic Rights Management and is available to watch online at Babelgumcom. Mr. Wick directed the feature film ALYSSA AND SARA and is currently in preproduction on his second, PVT. FRANCIS OF WILLIAMSBURG. In addition, Mr. Wick is a producer on the feature films MESHUGGENEH and UWAKI. In 2007 and 2008 Mr. Wick created the live video mix for the off-off broadway documentary theatre production, THE PARANOID'S GUIDE TO HISTORY.
