Poet Karma Lowe was asked to submit an audition tape of herself reading her poems by the producers of Def Poetry Jam.
Josh Wick shot and edited two five minute pieces of the poet reading her own work.
Choreographed by Cathy Seago and performed by Cathy Seago and dancers, "Fracture Track" premiered in London in 2003.
The full work was commissioned by Hertsdance, with support from Laban Centre, London.
A 14 minute promotional DVD, "Excerpts from 'Fracture Track' ", was produced and edited from the original video material by Josh Wick in 2005.
. . . is documentary theatre combining words, music, and images. From Tom Paine to Tom Cruise, from James Bond to Global Warming, the show examines the human condition (aka life) from a deeply suspicious perspective. There is something conspiratorial going on, and A Paranoid’s Guide to History can help make sense of it all.
